To prevent players from using the stationary Anti-Air close to Capture Point F in an unintended way on Wake Island, we have disabled it. This is now live in both Conquest and Escalation. We'll let you know once we've made adjustments to the AA and re-enabled it.

[BFComms] Grenade Indicator Visibility Issue
We're aware of an issue where grenade indicators are not sticking to the edge of the screen, making grenades beyond your field of view feel effectively "invisible".
The team is currently investigating this issue and we will share more information once we have an update on a fix.

Battlefield 6 Game Update 1.4.2.0 is now live across all platforms!
Starting at 12:00 UTC, Top Gun lands in Battlefield 6 and REDSEC, bringing Top Gun: Carrier Strike, Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep, the return of Wake Island, the expanded Tsuru Reef, two new fighter jets, and the Interdictor sniper rifle.
The update also introduces new Event Challenges and Ace Medal rewards, Portal Custom Lobbies, and a broad range of gameplay improvements across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC.
Battlefield 6 will also be free to play from August 18-25.

BATTLEFIELD 6 UPDATE 1.4.2.0 arrives August 18
On Tuesday, August 18, Game Update 1.4.2.0 goes live for Battlefield 6 and REDSEC, bringing the Top Gun event, the return of Wake Island, the expanded Tsuru Reef, two new fighter jets, the Interdictor sniper rifle, a new Crashed Carrier POI in Fort Lyndon, and new aerial experiences across Carrier Strike and Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep.
At (timestamp in your local time zone), players will be able to download the update across all platforms and jump in with the latest gameplay changes, including improvements to vehicles, weapons, gadgets, maps and modes, UI and HUD, Portal, audio, AI, and underwater gameplay.
At (timestamp in your local time zone), the new content in this update becomes available. Take flight in the F/A-81F Super Spectre and F-74A Seacat, fight for control of the skies in Top Gun: Carrier Strike and Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep, experience the legendary return of Wake Island, and earn new Top Gun-themed rewards through Event Challenges.

Playlist Update: Mode Rotation Schedule
We want to clarify how Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, Domination, Rush, and Obliteration will rotate in the game. These rotations are designed to support overall matchmaking health and queue times across our most popular modes.
These modes will run on a repeating two-week schedule:
Playlist 1 — Tuesday through Monday
Team Deathmatch will remain in Playlist 1, while Domination and King of the Hill alternate each Tuesday.
Playlist 2 — Friday through Thursday
Obliteration and Rush will alternate each Friday. These rotations will continue back and forth throughout Season 4.
Custom Search, Conquest, Breakthrough, Casual Breakthrough, and Escalation will remain available at all times.
We'll continue monitoring matchmaking activity and performance as the season progresses. We'll communicate any changes to this schedule if they occur.
